We’re committing far too many forward. I thought we’d be being compact and keeping it tight. We’re so open and they are just playing round our press with ease

Can’t see us getting anything at the moment

The attempted pressing is pathetic.

No outlet or plan in possession. A mix of team failure ls but also a CF who in appearances so far has not been able to compete with L1 defenders.

MOM doesn't really do much to be a nuisance does he.

Oh, Lewis Wing IS playing....

Agree, the press is all over the place, why can't they coordinate it...

We're trying to press and doing it badly, so they're just picking us off. Better to stop trying if you can't do it properly

This is crud. Get the ball, manage to get into the Bolton half and then back it comes at pace with nearly the whole Bolton team.

At this rate it’ll be Xmas before we get another shot.

That's it lump it straight back to Bolton and give them another go.

Also looking like a certain Red Card, not the most intelligent player I fear

Problem is the defence and deeper midfield can't push up to close the gap behind the forward press, because we've got no pace at the back so any long ball or flick on puts someone in behind.

Which just leaves at least one Bolton player in a huge hole just inside their half, between the lines, to beat the press.

Someone tell MOM to watch Randall, he might learn something.

Mom is hopelessly out of his depth.

Like the camera man who seems obsessed with close ups.

Best thing Doyle has done centrally, middle of the pitch, that's what he and Elliott should be doing and where.

He’s been our best centre back for the last 10 minutes. Which is concerning.

This. We'd be much better off with a lower press, bring their defenders out a way and creating a bit of space in behind.

Just keep giving it back. No composure or outlet

Not sure why anyone is singling out MoM. He’s worked hard and been no worse than anyone else. Low bar admittedly
