As the Yann Kermorgant song has made its way to our board

What's your favourite Football Song. No, not BANG BANG CLAP CLAP you drumming goon.

I'm talking about gems like:

Mertesacker Emptiness

and

Lament to Relegation (anonymous Reading fan)

and

Zebra X - We're Not Going To Take It (Oyston Out)

You fill up my senses,
Like a gallon of Magnet,
Like a packet of Woodbines,
Or a good pinch of snuff

Like a night out in Sheffield
Or a greasy chip butty

Oh Sheffield United, come fill me again

.....attended a lot of sheff utd away games around uni years (good mate is blade). Great song when belted out by a crowd

I agree JMW re greasy chip butty, stirring stuff, think it is come thrill me again at the end though. What era were you watching the Blades? Use to go to beautiful downtown Bramall Lane myself quite a bit in the eighties when up visiting my grandparents and my first professional game I attended was SUFC v Carlisle in 1977, my Dad being a Blade from Manor Top!

Keep right on to the end of the road, belted out by Brum City is pretty decent too.

This was late 90s while at uni
Basically a load of away games that were easily commutable from Reading. Plus a few home games (inc 2 Blades-Reading matches where I had to sit in the home end with him) when we'd go to Sheffield to visit his folks.

Got a lotta love for that club tbf. Me and him really enjoyed those few years under Coppell/Colin where we were neck and neck for a few seasons
