Eve of our season and it looks like it’s going to be a difficult one. Anything above the bottom 3 will be a solid achievement imho, we really need to have everyone firing and try to remain as injury free as possible.

Top 12 for me would be a good season and is achievable. We still have a strong starting 11 and when I look around the league apart from the recently relegated Prem teams I don’t see any transfer business that makes me worry.

Squad is thread bare. At least we have Derby for company. If Pauno keeps us up, Then the South Stand should be named after him.

Just survived for me. If the EFL don't start being more flexible when it comes to letting us re-sign players then it's next season that I'm more worried about.

A good start always matters, but I think so more than ever this season. Get 10 points or so on the board early and maybe our small squad can get enough momentum to have a comfortable season, even if our lack of depth means we'd probably fall away.

On the other hand, a bad start in what looks like a favourable run of opening fixtures, and we could find it very hard to play catch up with such a small squad.

It's not fair we've been spending ludicrously beyond our means for a decade either.

I suspect the club do. There may well be further conditions to be met yet. Offloading Puscas maybe part of the puzzle.
