Did Lincoln last year, stayed over to sample some of the nightlife. There is some, it's alright, even if it feels like you're really close to the coast. Bomber museum overlooking the city is nice.

Sunday morning, no trains running directly south. All were being cancelled or getting later and later. There was a train almost direct to London but that's no good m8.

So, Northern rattler to Worksop. Robin Hood line to Nottingham. That should get me closer.

Get to Worksop. Robin Hood line stops at Mansfield on a Sunday. And its only running intermittently anyway. Right.

Find the Worksop bus station, £2 fare to Chesterfield station, via Bolsover. Thought about another £2 fare, to Derby, but also wanted to get home at some point

Bit of an adventure but ultimately disappointed not to go through Newark, the only place in UK to be an anagram of the world wanker.

Great place to visit. Given the early kick off, I would recommend going up on Friday to anyone with the time/money.

Looks like we've sold just over 500 tickets for this one so far.

Not a bad ground but a dull city and lunchtime kick off
