Do think there's a very good chance that our home match against Cardiff and Lincoln's away match at Stevenage on 18th April will be their L1 picks for that weekend.

Do we think game against Wigan on 28th will go ahead. Has anyone been called up from either side yet and are there any others that might ?

Fairly certain it will go ahead. I don't think either side has enough internationals to get the game called off.

Agree. I think the following is a list of the current Reading players with international experience…

Andy Yiadom - Ghana
Basil Tuma - Malta
Ben Elliott - Cameroon
Charlie Savage - Wales U21
Liam Fraser - Canada
Paddy Lane - Northern Ireland
Derrick Williams - Ireland
Matt Ritchie - Scotland
Andy Rinomhota - Zimbabwe
Will Keane - Ireland
Ryan Nyambe - Namibia
Sean Patton - Ireland U19
Mark O’Mahony - Ireland U21
Kiyan Coke-Miles-Smith - England U21
Jarae Jones - England U18
Emmanuel Osho - England U18
Harrison Rhone - England U18
Boyd Beacroft - England U18
Michael Stickland - England U21
Jay Senga-Ngoyi - England U21
Mamadi Camara - Guinea-Bissau
Toby Borgnis - New Zealand U17

Most of the above are either no longer considered, on loan elsewhere or injured so not much chance of postponement unless some real surprises are suddenly made by some countries

Wigan have less current international players :

Jason Kerr - Scotland
Raphael Borges Rodrigues - Australia
Tyrese Francois - Australia
Callum Elder - Australia

Cardiff City (H) surprisingly not selected for TV. Thought that was the likeliest of our remaining matches that would get selected - https://www.efl.com/news/2026/march/19/ ... elections/

Given the relative lack of time to fit in any postponements at this point, I think it would be preferable to play even if we did meet the criteria for postponing.

No, very very bad. Relying on sky to shunt it, even to 12.30. first home game of the season i’ll miss.

so you've managed to make all the other 3pm kick offs this season, why is this game one too many?

Brother over from Australia, big family do in Fleet. Would have just about got away with it with a 12.30 KO, but cannot really rock up at 5.30-5.45 when it is “from 3.00 onwards”

There's one -
Huge congratulations to Sean Patton on his first call up to the Ireland U21 squad!

But -
Fraser not in Canada squad, Savage not in Wales squad, Namibia only called up local players so no Nyambe, O’Mahony injured, Tuma on loan

Rinomhota isn't in the Zimbabwe squad either. Probably just going to be Patton of first team players going on international duty for us.

Kaden Young called up to England U20 squad. What's the status with Dorsett?

Do Montserrat even play matches outside of official games? Can't find anything at all so doesn't look like he's getting a call up.

Match definitely going ahead on Saturday. Interesting tweet by Paul Kendrick who is the local Wigan journo:
The deadline for this has passed...need eight full days' notice, which caused the issue last time...Reading called it less than half an hour before the 3pm Friday deadline without warning...Latics left far from happy... #wafc

So we called it within the time limit. Wasn't it because one of our players was called up last minute as a replacement?

Yeah, I'm not sure why a side would get so annoyed - there is a deadline, we met it once we met the criteria and still a full 8 days before the game - I strongly doubt we knew we would have 3 players out for a few days beforehand and then just leave it to the last minute to piss them off.
