sandman Finally someone got it. I can't believe you all kept biting.
I mean, really? You people, it's the oldest trick in the book. Did none of you watch wrestling as a kid? The bad guy always refers to the fans of the hometown favourite as "you people". The posts are so over the top that I thought it was obvious but you still kept taking it seriously and responding.

Vision Not sure why.
If McCarthy was told he was playing on saturday you'd assume Federici was told he wasn't playing at the same time so there was no need to be there on Sunday at all.

MaguireSnowball
The fact it didn't go in was nothing to do with McCarthy. Similarly if Federici had someone stood behind him on the line against Stoke it wouldn't have gone in either.
It was an appalling error. Whether or not Sigurdsson completes the tap in is neither here nor there wrt the error.
McCarthy had a bad game.
MaguireVision The point surely is whether you think McCarthy will make the same mistakes in the future and whether they will lead to goals being conceded up against whether you think Federici will continue to make the same mistakes that will also lead to further goals in the future.
If you think just because McCarthy giving the ball straight to an opposition forward didn't lead to a goal on this occasion means it won't in the future then I'm afraid you're a little deluded. I'm inclined to think it's first game nerves rather than a recurring problem but if it is an issue then "well they didn't score from it this time" really isn't a legitimate reason to not address the problem.
Spot on.
Benefit of the doubt I guess but if he plays like that again then *shudder*

Hoop Blah I'm sure McDermott said he'd told Federici he wasn't playing on Saturday as well, but then his Instagram picture looks to be his kit in the dressing room so who knows....
