Alan Partridge why are some of these players on the shortlist? Not just for this one but all of them have had 'comedy' nominations. Rubbish, waste of time.

Well, there wasn't much nominations for the others. And nobody disagreed with my shortlist on the other thread.

Jerry Williams, Scott Taylor, Glen Little

is all you need for this thread, there may have been some from previous generations not mentioned. But the others as RFC's greatest ever right winger? LOL

Least you'd get a decent poll result each time with genuine candidates rather than people being 'funny' voting for someone dump.

dont think anyone dump has won any of the polls

if its such a waste of time why are you posting?

Same reason you are, boredom.

SpaceCruiser Thinking about it, wasn't Rougier actually playing on the left rather than the right, which makes his place in the poll a bit of a joke?!?

Yes. Also, he wasn't very good.

He may not have scored many goals, but I'm certain he was much better than Michael Meaker and various other players.

I'd disagree with that and Donface might agree with me.

I liked Meaker.

not really, he's behind two other players, at least the players from previous seasons who arn't good enough were actually first choice.

He may be 2nd / 3rd choice in our team now but the quality of the squad is better than ever before. A 3rd choice Prem player is far better than a League one struggler.

Oh... and Meaker was awful, I used to hope he's be dropped only for my heart to sink every time his name was read out before games.

If there was a 'worst right - sidedmidfielder' poll i'm sure he'd be on it.

3. Nick Shorey
4. Dariusz Wdowcyzk
5. Adrian Williams
6. Phil Parkinson
7. Glen Little

His photos always brightened my day.

my love of Meaker comes from a game in which we played Norwich and I think lost 3-0. He was the only one that looked like he cared or was capable of causing any damage.

I thought he was great.
