The 17 Bus LI have a contract to share the Stadium, the ground staff are used to dealing with pitch problems, hence why RFC and LI have invested a lot of money on said pitch in the last couple of seasons. Do you really believe that they will allow the pitch to deteriorate to a extreme degree, and if so do you really think it will affect RFC that much?
I repeat, you live on what was a flood plain in the past, areas like that are often sodden, the pitch at the MAdstad is raised, and is not a flood plain, and in the last few seasons has had money spent on it, simple really, no need for concern.
It is a pointless discussion when you are dealing with Schards#2, (if that is the voice of reason then God help us); I suspect that if he was in the rain forests of the Amazon he'd be asking if the weather there might somehow affect the pitch at the Madejski. It is a rather quaint move really, ' my back lawn is waterlogged, so the Madejski must be too'. No thought for 'the Madejski pitch is intended for use by professional rugby and football teams and is not made of the same base as a park or my lawn'.
