Row Z Royal
Ian Royal shock that player at fairly well performing premier league club (first season)who doesn't play much gets cap over player at scottish premier league also ran club.

I still think waiting and actually seeing how he does in pre season, and maybe a few league games is a much muh better idea than writing him off because Long has more caps.

Stop trying discount my prejudices.

Noel Hunt is shit and always will be. FACT!!!

Reckon Coppell will catch on?

Streets
BNWA Streets, will you get a sodding grip - it's embarassing.

Anyway, 15-20 goals in the SPL isn't exactly a bad record and considering we're a Championship club curently it's more likely than not going to mean he is perfectly capable at this level.

Embarassing is a club finishing just outside Europe, still refusing to spend even £4m in the transfer market the following season and then getting relegated.

Embarassing is getting relegated, pockets full of cash and still refusing to spend the money required to get in the better proven players required.

Yes of course, as with our promotion, you don't always need a team of 'proven' players, but that team was together a long time and had one hell of a fighting spirit.

We are going to struggle this season because our chairman is holding us back.

NoeLOL Hunt. Great.

Big Ern I know we need to give the lad time to prove himself, but this signing, assuming it is our only major signnig of the summer, does nothing to restore my confidence in the club. I hope I am wrong, but our record with players from the Scottish league is not exactly great.

It's always the ones you least expect...

I think Noel Hunt and Lita are similar types of players but Noel has a better attitude and more effective at holding up and linking up play. I cant see Lita getting back in the team now as long as Noel stays fit

From seeing up here in live matches at Aberdeen and Inverness I have always thought that he had the ability to do very well down here at the Mad Stad and he is proving so, always thought he had the right pedigree to be a success, very energetic and enthusiastic in the way he plays and quick he fits in the Royals side well. Easilly capable of getting 15 to 20 goals this year.

And how many goals and assists has S Hunt got so far? (He seems to be providing the final ball to all of Noel's goals and some of Doyle's, plus scoring his own too.) Can't imagine there has been anyone more productive with final ball in the whole 92 clubs.

Stephen Hunt - what a bargain!

3 goals.

At least 8 assists.

He started the match with 6 assists, and I can't remember Noel's goal (Doyle's were set up by Hunt).

To put the 8 into perspective, I think Little got 14 in the 99-goal side.
