Sun TzuFocher Pearce did well when he played this season but he does not have the pace to make it at a high level. I would put Bikey, Ivar, Doobs, and Cisse ahead of him.
So on the basis that Pearce lacks a bit of pace you'd put other players who also lack pace ahead of him ?
Plenty of centre backs lack pace, but make up for it by reading the game. It's not a killer problem in that position.

Broxroyal I am not sure what the long term future holds for Pearce and I have to accept that the management team see more of him than I do but I am disappointed.
I don't know any centre back who hasn't made a couple of mistakes this season.

Bikey, Doobs, and Cisse all have genuine pace. Ivar is not quick but makes up for it in position, as Pearce will learn to do. Coppell likes pace and power, which is why he has always favoured Doobs, Bikey, Cisse, Sonko etc

SCIAG Doobs does not have genuine pace. He is no Hyypia, but he is by no means quick. He's below average.
