Hes good on both wings, could be a replacement for hunt?

Hes been impressive this year, wouldn't be the worst signing we could make.

Jamal has always caught my eye whenever I've see him play and bringing him to the club I think would be a good move. He's tricky and has good pace and with the right players around him could go on to better things.

Apparently Mick McCarthy was at one of their last home games so it'll be more like Wolves. We're not going to spend £1m on a winger

Why not? I would have thought it would be one position where we would spend good money for the right person.

Not sure that Wolves would be in for yet another winger if they have secured Reid on loan for the rest of the season.
Wouldn't mind seeing this lad at our place and it does sound as though we have been looking at wingers with our name having been mentioned also for the Oldham winger and earlier for Surman.

The comments from the Barnsley manager suggest that if they get an improved offer Jamal will be on his way (to us?).

This lad looked good against us when we played them recently. Just the sort of player Coppell would be interested in.

Anyone with a good eye who went to Barnsley will know this is not a surprise. He was easily there best player and I thought it was very interesting that Coppell waited to speak with him before going down the tunnel, especially as he was the last player of both teams to leave the pitch. Seems a very un-Coppell thing to do so he must have been very impressed and have an interest in him too.

Coppell always waits to speak to every opposition player after every game, home and away. I've always thought it was a touch of class as he does it win, lose or draw.

The 25-year-old Jamaican international joined Barnsley from Southend in August 2007 for £175,000.

Shame our scouting network wasnt more on the ball in 2007 - would have got a price far more pallatible for Sir Mad!

We were hardly like to try to get an untested and mercurial right winger on the cheap when we're in the Premiership. With Little's poor fitness record that would have been a recipe for disaster.

True but I do think there was maybe more to that chat with Campbell-Ryce than his normal ones. Probably just said that he thought he played well and would be watching him in the future.
