Very good performance across the board tonight.

Played some nice stuff on the floor and showed some class, particularly from tabb and little.

Could have let disappointment of disallowed goals effect us but came out after break very positive and fully deserved the win. Even shunt was up for it when he came on.
Before the game we needed 6 results to go our way to claim 2nd. 2 of them happened tonight so it has been a very good few hours for the royals.

So the pitch helped then? How was Karacan and Harding?

Well that was a really good performance with plenty of chances created and the team playing the best they've played for a long while. Harding had a really sound debut, slotted in perfectly and was never beaten as a previous poster mentioned. Little had his best game since returning from his loan spell. Kebe was nowhere near as bad as made out, he played his part in what was a good win. Derby had a couple of decent chances, notably first half when Dubbery nearly headed into his own net. Second half, they had a thunderbolt of a shot from around 20 yards out when Marcus done well to tip it over.

Good to get back to winning ways and we'll watch how our rivals do over the weekend.

Harding did a good job of slotting in for Armstrong. I never saw him make a mistake and he tracked back and covered the ball and player well. Having never seen him play before it was a solid performance from him.

Well that was actually a joy to watch that game. Very very open but funnily enough despite the lack lusture performances we've put in recently we were either on fire or Derby's position in the table doesn't lie. Aside from a couple of cracking shots on goal, which appeared more speculative as a result of a generally solid defense, Hahnemann was never really tested.

Three goals on 6-7 mins disallowed. . One - Kitsons was a very dubious decision and should never have been ruled out. Derby suited out more open passing style of play that when it clicks is a joy to watch. The switching of play, passing and pace of the team, game and therefore attacking play was for once spot on. Very few passes went astray, Bikey was cutting passes out, pre-empting and nicking the ball from the oppositions feet and Long and Kitson were both on fire tonight. Both stayed on their feet.

Keep the fire in the belly and continue playing like that is all i say. It doesn't repair a broken season but it will instill confidence for the play offs.

What pleases me most? The absence of Stephen Hunt! WE've won a game he didnt play in and thus Coppell will keep the same team. Injuries to Harper may also help us in our cause because now we have 2 players in the centre who can actually pass the ball forwards. Get Doobs out and put Doyle in for Long and I'd be even more happy

With the first look of the team it looked a week set up, but this would appear to have been a line up full of players with somehting to prove and missing the "prima donnas" that have become such a part of our recent displays, at last a performance that has supporters smiling again. Pity it took Tabb so long to be given his chance, he seems to be a very hard working, energetic player, something that has been missing of late, and it is good to see Karacan back and Long putting in a performance, well done the team, for your hard work and endeavour.

I agree about Shunt and Harper, but why would you want Doyle back in the team when Long is scoring and works harder ? Doyle already has one eye on a summer move, so I'd leave him out from now on. To have a chance in the play-offs we need every single player 100% committed and I'm not sure he's been that since January. The same goes for Harper and Shunt.

Please explain. We are now 4th in the table, still mathematically in with a chance of automatic promotion (slim I concede) and you think that the table implies that we are not up with the best in the this league? What standards do you set then?

I suppose the point is that how the table looks now we should have won this league and already be champions. OK you are not going to win every game (2006 again) but none the less we SHOULD have had more points from our home games without any doubt.

Last nights win gives some hope for still auto promotion but I doubt that only needing a point that Brum will slip up on Saturday.

Not seen a 1st 10 mins like that before, had that dreaded feeling it was gonna be one of those days, espicially at half time.

Players showed the bottle 2nd half and deserved the 3 points.

Hopefully we can build some momentum going into the play offs now.

To be honest I get the feeling Doyle is just fcuked having run himself into the ground last 3 seasons. Not sure he has Hunt style comitment problems and I've heard Coppell has decided to rest Doyle for the play offs.

I could have sworn we had some very dodgy games at the start of the season.

Were we the 'best in the league' when we played Ipswich, Forest, Charlton....

Was impressed by Harding, although he did tire towards the end. Bikey was good but still gives away the ball too often. Jem K and JT look a really good pairing in the middle. Kebe was better than Saturday, but still wastes possession far too much and defensively is a non-event. Long worked hard...I did think his goal was offside. Kitson took his goal well, his disallowed goal should have stood according to a couple of Derby fans I was talking to after. He still comes way too deep for a striker. We kept the ball for longer periods last night and it showed, not only in the result, but also in the manner of the performance. Lets hope confidence is boosted and performances continue to improve for the remaining fixtures and three play-off games.
