we have never (nor will) build a team around one player....what team ever does?Percy's Rocket It won't happen but take any two from Tabb, Karacan, Harper Cisse (or even Bikey if Pearce comes in) to do the foot in bit behind Marek, lose shunt and tebe and put Long on the right and Doyle on the left of Kitson and stop hoofing the ball and keep it on the floor.....build the team round Marek if you want to get the best from him but not in a 442 I am afraid. Full backs would have to get forward and cross so stretch and rosey/murty would have to get there but this is a team rebuild and there is no time or management inclination to do this.

Okay, I'm a bit suspicious of this comment.
If Marek was so good, would he not have been signed by a Prem team in the summer?

no real loss, if it would be, he would've been a first team player this season....he wasn't capableRoyal Lady I still think, if we don't go up, that Brum or Wolves might be interested in him, if not another Premiership team. I'd be delighted if he was still with us next season, but I suspect if he doesn't go in the Summer, he'll be snapped up in January - and we'll take the money.

explain his white line obsessionRoyal Lady Of course he's capable!!! He's been injured. I do think the way some opposition teams play, Coppell maybe felt he was too attacking for us when we needed a more defending midfielder in there. Or something.

And what club is going to risk signing a player who's just torn his ankle ligaments? That'd be a brave manager.

or blind alliegenceSchards#2 I don't know what's more depressing...the performance.....SLAMMED's 300 odd posts of white noise........or reading people criticising the one player who looked like he could shine in the premiership

Tredder I would rather have Hateley back than be dumped with Kitson.

such a gulf that he gifts pocession to any old Chumpionship teamRoyal Rother I really honestly do find it terribly difficult to understand how it is that some people can't see the gulf in class between Marek and the rest of the team.
I am no football professor but it's as plain as the nose on G. Little's face.
