Don't worry, there departure is all part of the 'rolled out' demise of the current management team. Look forward and worry more about who's coming in.

Totally agree. The saddest thing for me is that Coppell didn't bring in fresh backroom staff for this season. Would have given the club the impetus it desperately needed and probably prolonged Steve's stay.

Time for everyone to move on. Cheers guys.

Not surprised at Wally moving on but a bit disappointed that Dillion is off too. He's one that knows the club inside out and I was hoping would be one of the figures to stay under the new manager to keep some continuity and knowledge about the squad in the staff.

Maybe a clue in them going that the new man is a done deal though...

Agree, disappointed that KD is going, thought that he would be useful to have around, not too bothered about WD though.

If a new manager hasnt been appointed yet, it at least gives anyone applying the confidence that they can bring in a whole new backroom in order to do their job their way.

Great job - you played a big part in the Reading era of their greatest success.

I'll miss their characters and they've both contributed to our success over the years.

Give us a wave!

So will the likes of Doyle, Kitson, S.Hunt... but we need change. Positive or not, we must make changes now.

Surprised Bikey didn't deck him at the end

Did a great job coaching the team, but agreed that it was time to move on along with Coppell.

Does this mean the feud between Reading FC and Warnock is over?
I found that quite entertaining.

My immediate thoughts too. Surely it is a new managers choice as to who his backroom staff are.......

I'm very much of this thinking too.

Coppell's decision to leave wasn't spare of the moment. The football club have known about it for long enough and plans will have been in motion long ago.

Assistant manager perhaps. But yes, I'd love to see him back here in a coaching capacity.
