Seems to say that he wants to join us (or rather, Rodgers). This Rodgers chap must have chocolate flavoured nipples...

Fantastic vid. And only 22 - what a great prospect. Should imagine he'll be even more expensive than Smith, though :(

+1. Seems to be a good striker with his feet. Judging by that video, a lot to be desired with his head.

Good with both feet and calm as a cucumber. No chance we'll get him.

If Smith goes for more than £1.5m, so will Priskin. Very much out of our reach, sadly.

£2.5m would help Watford a lot.

I can see this being a possibility and would be delighted if it happened.

Quick feet, decent in the air, determined and good reactions. Doesn't look the quickest, but certainly not slow. Not short and seems to have a knack for timing his runs well.

At 22 quite possibly a better bet than Smith and a better investment. A player that if Rodgers thinks is as good as those clips show, with more potential, I think we'd be willing to bid higher than we would for Smith.

An unspectacular but decent scoring record. IR likes what he sees.

Just looked at his Wiki page...

Someone has already changed his "current club" to Reading

Agreed. I think because of his age he'd represent much better value at above £2m than Smith is at £1.8m. But then the chances of us paying that much for any single player is slim.

I think people are overlooking how much the fans factor is affecting Smith's value and falsely inflating it. Priskin's been out on loan and only got back in the team and showed what he was capable last season so I don't think they'll be valuing him too highly. Good signing if we can get him, I've liked the look of him whenever I've seen him play.

Would be an exciting prospect. To be fair, with only a year left on his contract, I doubt Watford could hold out for big money if we did go in for him.

As said many times before it's a question of how much we want him - if we feel we're happy to wait a season and do not desperately need him now, Watford will be in a much weaker bargaining position. If we are seen as a really needing a striker - they can charge pretty much what they want. They know if they wait a year his value will decrease to zero, but they can still wait till January and if he's scored a hatful in the autumn they could still sell him at a premium to a club desperate for a striker.

As I'm sure he did with Smith, but the lack of money seems to be a problem...
