LOL.
Ship him out on loan - we don't want him.

Although rather hilarious, it will be a significant blow to the club if Hunt is still here by the end of August. The squad needs strengthening, and it's clear that we have to sell players before that's going to happen. Hunt, if anyone bothers to bid for him, will bring in a sizable fee. If we can't ship him out then we're far more likely to lose Bikey or Matejovsky, something that I'd particularly like us to avoid.

Is it really that difficult to make a poll?

Hopefully he'll stay and play. He's clearly a creature of hobbit, so, judging by the last two seasons, we should expect him to play blindingly well until January.... which is when we should sell him.

According to the Daily Star, we are dropping our asking price of £5.5million, as we have had no offers for him.
lets hope this works

No surprise really that no one is interested in SHunt, finished last season so poorly he was lucky to be on the bench, bad attitiude, thinks he is much better he is, with his over inflated ego this has left him in no-mans land, and I think in all honesty not wanted here, and it would appear not wanted anywhere else either.

Stupid price. He should be going for a tenth of that.

That was never the 'asking' price. Merely the price at which we would have been forced to sell.

At any time anyone could have made an offer at any level and we could have accepted it so it's a bit of a non story isn't it ?

That price was also a clause in the contract prior to his current one, so it isn't even certain there IS a clause now.

Perhaps its the buy Hunt get Kebe free clause that's the stumbling block.

I can't see who would want him. I like him I have to say, but his end of season performances weren't all that were they? Lets hope rodgers does a job on him and turns his attitude around eh?

Rip their arms off for that. Lets all meet in the car park and offer to drive him up to Brum!

As long as Rodgers is confident Robson-Kanu can step up, or we have a replacement lined up SHunt is welcome to go for anything over £1m as far as I'm concerned. If the above isn't the case then we need to keep him. Because Kebe sure as hell isn't good enough to be our only left wing option.

I have voiced my opinion on our #10 more than enough. Is it just possble that should he go to Birmingham, that would be the green light for an improved bid for Tommy Smith? Like for like replacement positionally at least?

Birmingham boss Alex McLeish is quoted on Sky's website today as saying he has no intention of tabling a bid for Hunty, least not yet anyway.

thats got me smilling, particularly those who think he can put in a good cross and think hes a dedicated person.
sadly i think he'll still be here until at least january. he is turning into a mill stone that we cant shake off, he'll just sit there earning pots of cash while balloning every cross into the stands and messing up every set piece.
