From the same source that told me Mancienne was on his way to Wolves on a season long loan at the beginning of July, says we've been watching Jackson and are planning a bid if the Tommy Smith deal collapses.
I don't know much about the lad, but he did have a very good season last year for Gills, and scored an opening day hat-trick last week.
He's a Canadian international; 22 years old, formerly of Rushdon & Diamonds, and Gillingham know they will be lucky to keep hold of him going into September.

Ideal Obviously this guy has more of a goalscoring habit than any of our smallish strikers. So yes, please do go sign him. Provided we also sign someone bigger to partner him up front.
