I prefer Rangers to Celtic and also want Arsenal to win tonight. *

I also have a collection of dinosaurs and pictures of ponies on my bedroom wall. I hope you all can stop fighting soon.

Hugs.

weybridgewanderer Gus,

Did you want rangers to beat Zenit in the final of the UEFA cup a couple of years ago?

yes i did and what a shocking performance it was, at least when celtic played cheating, diving porto it was a contest

I seriously doubt you are a celtic fan then and just fall for the romantic notion that they are the most loved support in the world. You are the only celtic fan I have ever heard say they wanted Rangers to win that night

ever been to celtic park? ever posted on kerrydale street or the huddleboard? Had you heard the nacho novo song before I posted it above?

to answer your questions

yes i have been to celtic park

no i have never posted on kerrydale street or the huddleboard

yes i had heard the nacho novo song before and many many others, i remember a particularly unsavoury one about davie cooper was made to the tune of super trouper a few days after he had died suddenly of a brain haemorrhage, i despise all that stuff and do not condone it in any way, shape or form

also if other celtic fans want rangers to be humped when they played man u a few years ago or whatever, that's fine, that's their decision, i don't have to go along with everything they do/say as i have the capability of making my own decisions/observations on the individual matter in front of me, i think rangers are a fine fine football club but without any real sense of direction/purpose, other than being anti-celtic, it's a shame but i guess the spl is too small for these 2 large fish, like having 2 sharks in a small aquarium, they're bound to go a bit mental and go at each other viciously

I'm thinking Arsenal might finally come into their own again this season.
Beating Celtic at Celtic in Europe is some scalp.

at long last some recognition that its not just the Rangers fans that are bad

I don't agree with some of the repertoire of my support and certain add ons and changed lyrics

i do not appreciate all the "rangers fans are bad celtic fans are good" bollocks.

there is good and bad in both supports

to be fair the gaps are getting bigger every year, with scottish tv money dwindling and english tv money exploding, even last season cetlic were lucky to get a 1-1 home draw with man u

2 very lucky goals but no complaints, arsenal outplayed celtic.....unless something changes rangers and celtic are going to find it increasingly hard to compete against the european powerhouses, uefa cup finals and qualification from group stages might soon be a memory but no doubt both clubs will continue to punch above their finanacial weight, it's just that the fight is getting harder and harder

Only way to get a a result against the big spending english and european teams is stick 10 men behind the ball and hope to hit them on the counter, hope that the atmopsheres at ibrox and celtic park are too intimidating as to what they are used too

On man utd's trip to ibrox:

Gary Neville (Manchester United)

"This was the loudest atmosphere that I have known, compared to any English ground away from home.

"There have been certain nights at Old Trafford in European games - the ones against Juventus comes to mind - when the atmosphere was incredible.
"But this was definitely up there with the best. It was fantastic.
"When we came out at the start I was looking around me and I saw people in the directors’ box jumping up singing and I was wondering what was happening. It is not usually like that.
"The crowd beating us was never going to happen - but thank goodness they didn’t score."

Ruud van Nistelrooy (Manchester United)

"I'll never forget that night we played there. The atmosphere was unbelievable, very hostile.

Villarreal will think they've experienced a lot of good atmospheres but I really think the Rangers support could startle them.

To be fair to celtic they sing YNWA how it should be sung and are very, very loud also. End of the day both lack the ridiculous money that the EPL teams have- so common sense would suggest they won't be able to compete.

I witnessed two young Rangers fans being barred from Banbridge Leisure Centre (Co. Down) for bombing earlier today.

When will this madness end?

To be fair most of them probably couldn't get a flight out of Ireland due to the snow!

LOL @ Rod Stewart and Penny going mad when Celtic scored against Rangers, only for Rangers to equalise quickly.

I think they've a way to go before dipping to the early 90s levels. and even further to 7000 odd rangers used to get in the mid 80s.

Two old firm games we've had the kitchen sink thrown at us whilst playing the reserves and taken 4 points off them. They are really hurting. So much fight and spirit in this rangers side, makes you shiver with pride. :D

Apparently celtic are signing dave kitson in January also. Not sure he'd go down well though as he turned down the chance to play for Ireland.
