Marcus Bent is rubbish. He can't score goals at any level.

Since 2005 he has scored 16 goals in all competitions.

He is a big donkey and a right wally. No thanks and those are the real facts.

2.8 lita injection They would improve our team for sure but they will probably want a to join a club with ambition.

The needle is sticking on the 'crap' track.

rg6royal Is he Marcus Bent's brother :?:

He IS Marcus Bent, I doubt his parents named any male siblings with the same name, but then you never know maybe they did.

If it's good enough for George Foreman........

Alan Partridge
rg6royal I'd take McSheffrey any day of the week tbh.

Just for Saturdays and some Tuesday's would be fine.

For the Cardiff wednesday evening match would be nice also.

First time I've ever agreed with you dodge.

Although I'd take McSheffry. Just the kind of player we need at the moment.

16 goals in about 60 odd games. 1 in 4, a lot of them in the Prem, and pretty much all of them as a back up forward so not playing week in week out

agree with you he doesnt gererally score a lot of goals, but i do think the other things he would bring to the team would suit are needs. He would have to have the wingers and attacking midfielder behind him to chip in with enough goals to mean his 10-15 would suffice

Not convinced, but i wouldnt take his scoring record over the last few seasons as a reason to rule him out

He's a big lump. He can hold the ball up. He scores a few goals. Bent could do the job.
McSheffrey could also do a job on the LW/RW. Either of them would improve us, and add experience.

Bent might've made a difference last night instead of Mr Rasiak. I wonder if he'd be allowed to leave on loan...

McSheffrey would be perfect for us.

Would let us move Sig into the middle too.

Sell Marek buy McSheffrey. Shirely JM would go for it....

Totally agree, if he is anywhere near the player he was 3 or 4 years ago, which he should be at his age, then he'd be a great addition to this side.

As I said in the summer, he's a decent winger who naturally chips in with a few goals. He could even do a job upfront alongside Rasiak if you ask me.

If this is your way of finding a good player then lets re-sign Bobby Convey! At his age he should be the sought of player he was 4 years ago.

With our less than prolific striking options, a wide player who has an eye for a goal would be a top signing.
