SPECULATION - Daniel Sturridge

by Sir Rodger Doyle » 26 Aug 2009 20:41

Ok, the whole smith deal went South and everyone is upset. To put smiles on faces again we should sign Sturridge on loan from Chelsea until the African nations cup. I for one would be more excited by this than the signing of Tommy Smith. He is not going to get a game at the moment and would benefit from some first team action before the ACN steals Kalou and Drogba away.

We should? You mean you think we should?

Great.

Why? He wont get a game ahead of Drogba, Kalou and Mr Grumpy. Would seem a plausible signing.

First off he would walk into a number of Prem sides.

Secondly, they need him to make up the english numbers on the bench in the CL.

I'll ask Bren, see what he thinks.

More chance of seeing Jay Simpson come in, and for that reason, I'm out.

Hey, why don't we get that Bentley lad on loan? He's not getting a game.
Or even that Benjani bloke...
What about that Macheda kid?

There is more chance of Homer Simpson playing for us the way this season has started.
