BBC
"Brendan will be bitterly disappointed. I know that Brendan has asked for certain things and not been given them.

Although certain people will carry on with the ame blinkered drivel that money has always been there for Coppell and would also be there for Brendan.

Madejski is singularly to blame for our relegation and largely to blame for Brendan's lack of success. End of.

Ideal Yeah, it had nothing to do with the fact that the tactics were non existant, team selections were made by rolling dice, and thorough incompetence in the transfer market.

and you remain a cock

readingbedding Gooding's only bitter because he was unable to join Bodgers' set-up!

and that is your best shot?

Well it's pretty much true, isn't it? One of the last things Rodgers did was to try and bring in Gooding, according to reports.
And in Gooding's piece it does shine through that he is very bitter not to be back in.

Judging by things he has said in the past, I think Gooding is still feeling pretty sore about the manner in which he feels Madjeski dealt with him and Quinn when they were the managers.

As such, I'm pretty surprised that he wanted to go back and suffer some more!

What we are talking about is two different eras. Before we were relegated from this division last in 1998, we reached the playoff final (if it was any other year, we'd of been a Premier League Team) in 1995. We had Elm Park, very little funds... and Mick still took us to the playoff final. However in that day and age, clubs werent as active in the market as they were now.

In 1997, when Mick & Jimmy Quinn were harshly sacked, they had nothing else they could do. We were feeding on frees. Bullivant came in, and to be honest was not up to the job... then Madman opened his wallet, threw millions at a load of Scottish players and we were relegated. I insist if it wasnt for Pardew taking over the season he did, we would have been relegated to the bottom tier. Then Madman got tight.

See Madman has never given money when he should of, never supported managers who are under the cosh. I think Madman needs to clear off and sell to someone who knows something about football

Ideal FFS, even Royalee has better bait than you.

I don't use 'bait', I just give my opinions and don't care whether idiots like you like them or not as I actually form them from going to games. You are the most pathetic poster on here by quite some distance and even though I often disagree with the likes of Ian Royal, brendywendy and so forth, at least they actually take in the odd game and put some thought into their arguments once in a while as opposed to your constant drivel. Why don't you do everyone a favour and go and jump in a fjord.
