De Kuip >>> De Meer >>> ArenA

Personally I found ArenA to be pretty dull, but they were only playing Volendam and it wasn't very exciting. De Meer was better, it wasn't an all-purpose multi-function venue, it was a football ground. For proper mentalism irrespective of the opponents though, de Kuip every time.

EastStander This is the site by the way.

http://www.getmein.com/tickets/ajax-v-a ... 58641.html

Any one bought tickets from these sites?

I'll give you a hint. They're trying to sell tickets for Ajax v Feyenoord.

How legit do you think it's likely to be?

That site's interesting because it says it's a ticketmaster company which is, as far as I'm aware, a legitimate site. I personally wouldn't take a punt, I'd rather go through the club, but if you do go through the site I'd be interested to know if it's legitimate.

FWIW, I've double checked with Ed, my friend in Holland. He will know for certain if it's yay or nay.

Checked with Ed finally - you can only buy tickets via the club.

I still maintain you'd be better off getting a train to Rotterdam (an hour's journey) and going to Feyenoord, but then again I'm a little biassed.

Unfortunately i missed it! Woke up 15 mins before kick off, as it was an early game! As we didn't actually have tickets, were all nursing hangovers and a with coffee shop downstairs, it was decided not to chance it.

However, spoke to a few locals before who all claimed you could buy them from the stadium on the day if it wasn't sold out.

Bit annoyed by missing it, but had a very good night the night before! Guess it just means ill have to visit the city again......

Watched the Burnley game on a small screen in bar (on just for us). Every other screen was from the Chelsea game including the commentary. Made some friends when we started shouting and celebrating wildly after Sig scored whilst nothing was happening in the other game!!!!! Can you picture the scene?
