Don't worry m9, they'll both be there so you'll be able to blame another Fwank WC FAIL on the fact they apparently can't play together

I wonder if Lamps has ever hit a strike quite like this?

me too - lamps is consistently the best scoring midfielder in this country, if not the world.

Tbf to Frank, all those penalties he scored this season have been hard earned.

I thought Fat Fwank was shit last night. England improved 100 fold when Carrick came on.

I thought it was a mistake leaving Gerrard out to be honest.

Lampard was utter turd. Gerrard marginally better. Neither as good as Barry. Neither anywhere near as good as Carrick or Milner.

Lampard simply isn't that good. He fits in at Chelsea with their system perfectly and it certainly helps him that they are twice as good as at least half of the teams they play.

I'm no big team apologist, but if Carrick were to be picked over Lampard at the World Cup, I'd seriously question whether to bother watching.

Compared to the best in the world he really isn't. Bet he'd be a relative failure if he moved onto another club.

Therein lies stupidity. They play different roles. If Carrick was picked to play Lampard/Gerrard's role ahead of him then yes. But Lampard being picked to play the creative passing midfielder that sits in front of the defence is equally as insane.

I was responding to this. If you want to call my comment 'stupidity', then enjoy your own world, Ian. I think you'll quickly run out of people who have any patience for you on this board with comments like that.
