Japan v England

by Maguire » 30 May 2010 12:36

1.15pm I believe, games for Huddlestone and Darren Bent.

Popping down the gym for this one but hopefully we'll look a bit more solid with Cole, Terry, and Lampard back.

Southgate and Townsnd have to be two of te worst pundits out their. Surprised by Lennon on the left? Fcuk off!! Do ur research he's been playing their in training. Only been mentioned in all the reports covering the trainig camp.

Can't believe Southgate wasn't more of a success in management. Down the gym with the sound off sounds like the right call.

Gonna be a long summer...

Watching now. On this showing England are not going very far in the tournament.

I'm only excited by Rooney.

wow. we're dire.

Huddlestone and Lampard... not a great central midfield pairing. I don't even know who is playing left wing and I've been watching for 15 minutes. Walcott really isn't very good.

Thought we looked ok tbh. Wide players looked decent, formation worked ok with Rooney dropping deep and Lamps sitting more than usual.

Players looking like they are getting used to a different system (note to comentetors there are different forms of 442) centre halves look all over the place at times but that always seems the way.

Bents not good enough either, which is a shame considering his size and movemnent.

Que mass hysteria...

First 30 minutes must have been quite different then because I thought Walcott was poor and as far as I can tell Cole is left winger.

Bent had nothing to work with from what I saw. - just seen the highlights, dangerous play and good build up, but no finishing.

FFS what is the big problem with understanding why Gerrard and Lampard don't work in central midfield!?

They do the same oxf*rd job you oxf*rd numpties.

Jesus Christ these commentators are stupid!

"it would be interesting to know if Engalnd had tried this new shape out on the training field at any point".

No, Cappello just thought he'd try something totally new on the fly. Retard.

SWP has to go, he's a bit headless chicken, but he makes stuff happen and he'll always get stuck in.

Joe Cole looking ok. Lampard atrocious, Gerrard poor.
