Oh dear France - they may play better with 10 men but I doubt it.

Almost makes me feel better about how crap we've been.

Silver Fox Down to 10 men too

Harsh red in my opinion, he led with his arm but didn't catch him with his elbow and only seemed to have eyes for the ball.

I'm assuming the other game's still 0-0? Do people who doubted that would played out as a tame draw still think that will apply, not that Saffers have a decent chance to pile on?

I think it is hard to do worse (on and off the field) than France so far this past ten days. Add to that a warm up defeat at home to China.

Still, I'll have to go home tonight and pretend to the wife that I'm disappointed for them.

Soundless on the TV in the office but it seemed pretty bad to me. Plus the thick girl I work with agrees with you so I'm afraid you must be wrong

Ok, wtf happened there? ITV commentators were telling me that Cisse got sent off, had to do some work and now I can see Cisse on the pitch. I take it Gourcuff owened up so he didn't have to bother with the remaniing 70 mins?

Bit of an odd one - in slow motion close up it doesn't look bad but wide angel, normal pace it looks nailed on red for leading with the elbow. That angle also shows that the ref was in the perfect place to call it, Gourkoff didn't really seem to contest it either.

He jumped up leading with his arm but I don't think it was a red. I think unless you deliberately throw an elbow at someone then it's unlucky to be a red.

LOL@ Cisse wandering off and Gourcuff cleearly going "nah, you're not getting out of this one pal"

Oh look...2-0!
