Mindless Speculation - Alex Pearce to Swansea

by rob the royal » 10 Aug 2010 23:12

QUOTE:

Brendan Rodgers is preparing to sell Ashley Williams to the highest bidder in order to fund a raid on former club Reading for Alex Pearce - widely tipped to become 'the next John Terry'. Pearce is seen as a future club captain in the making and is likely to command a seven figure fee.

Reading are said to be interested in selling despite currently having only 3 centre backs at club including Pearce.

The money is likely to be used to service the clubs debts having invested significant funds into alcohol gel sanitation in not only the ladies' but also the gents' toilets over the summer.

Love it! 7 figure fee? That would be £10,000.00?

Sell, sell, sell. For seven figures they can have Shaun Cummings as well.

I think Pearce can do a decent job for us and has come in for far too harsh criticism from many fans. But that would be ludicrous from Rodgers. I' wouldn't drive Pearce to Swansea for that, I'd carry him. And he's got to be twice my size and weight.

You do realise it's completely made up for a bit of fun - hence the thread title? :|

The bit about paying for the gel dispensers in the bogs ought to give it away really...

I am sure he did, as he is clearly lying about Pearce being twice his size!

If true, and despite what some people say on here, I'd be pretty hacked off if this actually happened.
