For a start, our opening performances haven't exactly set the world a light. We've now sold our best goal scorer and biggest threat. Now, you tell me where this amazing form is going to come from and who will bang in all these goals? Or are you of the thinking we're all set to master the 1-0?

I'm as nervous as anyone about losing Sigurdsson, but (Snowball might know) I've a feeling we haven't missed him that much in terms of results when he's been absent from league games.

I think we might start to improve, even without Gylfi. The experience of the last few seasons has shown that we are at our worst when we have people out of position. We've been trying to play without enough defenders available, which affects the balance of the team. With Harte and Kish, we're no longer going to be playing with one hand tied behind our backs. Howard has to step up to fill Gylfi'x shoes, though; and Tabb has to get fit.
