LOL @ Ian Royal. Spends the entire season on the sofa slating anyone who criticizes performances and then, when he's finally motivated to get off his arse and go to a game, he's bleating about the quality on offer like a stuck pig

Gah, that was a load of old toss wasn't it? First half was something approaching an exciting game of football, both keepers forced into some very decent saves. I am afraid we miss Kebe, and if we have to miss him for the entirety of next season if we stay down then I am afraid that the replacements are mere imposters; HRK has something about him but quite honestly fails to convince, Antonio has the pace but looks like a man who has received very limited coaching in his non-league days, his positional sense is diabolical.

Too much hoofball as usual, with MiLOLLOLs the usual chief culprit. The second half was just atrocious, we couldn't even keep the ball on the sodding pitch half the time, which is just basics really isn't it. Good point for us, any result away from home is good. Sadly I think we are fading away after a purple patch; Long for instance looks a shadow of the player we saw between Nov-Mar and could probably do with being dropped for next Saturday's dead rubber. 8 wins in a row is beginning to look rather a fluke, but it would be silly to dismiss this team of honest battlers.

Asda?

Please - I live in Sandhurst, don't you know? We don't allow Asda over our boundaries.

Mine was from Party World, Sandhurst. (Probably at twice the cost of yours ....)

Ian Royal Chief Steward had a word with me in the concourse saying all the big inflatables would be stuck in the tunnell and left for people to take away after the game, but that we shouldn't bet on getting them back because he had a couple of "arseholes" working for him who got their jollies from puncturing them, even though he's told them not to.

An astounding admission that he can't actually control his own staff. I'd suggest that anyone who couldn't get theirs back contact CCFC and ask what happened to it.

Stupid woman wouldn't allow us back in with our inflatable after half time, she watched over us whilst we deflated it

Thought the swirling wind seriously affected the quality of the play (and the life of the inflatables). Cov adapted better than we did but both sides did not seem to know how hard to kick the ball - loads of over-hit crosses etc.

Howard and 4 5 1 worked better. Poor NHunt, tries hard but plays with agility and speed of man in his 40s. Still a better bet to score than the alternatives though.

Rest of the season entirely dependent on Kebe and best 4 5 1 that McD can fathom.

Good point about Long. He could do with a break before the play-offs. Rest him against Derby. I'd play Church instead. If he could get a goal next week it would give us another option other than Hunt who was dreadful again yesterday. I suspect Manset is still being viewed as an impact sub at the moment. Surprised he didn't come on yesterday.

The lighting and sizing didn't look quite right... and people mentioned that there weren't many inflatables and that they all ended up down the front with the stewards... plus it's something I'd expect you to do

That would explain the hole in Mr Blobby. Amazingly a roll of insulating tape was produced!!

Only Watford can rival this place for shit pubs followed by a dire game of football. At the moment we appear to be holding back for the bigger challenge ahead. If so it`s a dodgy stategy, and if the opposition in the play offs is Swansea I would go with Howard and the 4-2-3-1 otherwise we may not see the ball. As for Mills it surely cannot be that difficult to give the ball to Griffin or Harte. What makes me laugh is the way he tries to make those hopeful long punts actually look cultured.

McAnuff was poor also. And lazyish. Such a capable player but his inconsistency in effort and achievement explains why he has never made it big time.

Felt a bit sorry for McDermott. I think he'd've preferred to start with McAnuff and HRK, but I think he deduced that McAnuff was lacklustre because he was playing on the right, and so put him on the left and played Antonio. But clearly he was lacklustre because he was lacklustre. To be fair, though, he put a pinpoint cross on Long's head, which Long should've scored.
