Inter is not the first giants with a move to Atletico Madrid, Juventus, AC Milan, Manchester United and Arsenal are all said to have an eye on the player.

Unbelievable shite reporting.

Well the story is just mentioning the clubs Gylfi has been linked with in the last 3 months:

Atletico Madrid:

Then this is equally shit reporting:
Arsenal

Man Utd

Juventus

It's shite reporting because it's lazy. Wally Downes made this up on his article and every rubbish website is taking it seriously. Couldn't quite believe Fordham picked up on it and published it. Says it all.

That was just the Man Utd link wasn't it?

I'm not sure a link to getbracknell is the strongest source either...

I can't be the only one that thinks he'd struggle a bit in the Premiership. He'd be better off in Italy or Spain where the pace of the game is less and there's more reward for technical skill

Gylfi scores for Hoffenheim today in a 2-1 defeat. Not been starting many games but their second top scorer.

I watch German round up on ESPN and he never plays just comes off the bench in the 2nd half.

Further to that goal against Bayer, Gylfi has adopted a new goal celebration, copying perhaps the oddest such move from Fifa 11.

Brilliant stuff, my celebration of choice after a rare goal on Fifa.

Ok, we should have asked for £10million.

Perhaps it's just me - but it feels like it was a lifetime ago Gylfi was playing for us

Believe me it's not just you. The very fact this thread exists is tribute to the fans feelings for Gylfi. I just wonder if we negotiated a sell-on clause when we sold him, as his next move is bound to be for a much bigger fee.

For some reason Gylfi moving on means more to many of us than the departure of the backbone of the 2005-06 team.

I would say that is because he was the only bright light in the first half of last season and also the fact he is from the youth acedemy and is probally the best player to pull on the hoops.

Because we got the best out of those players. We only had glimpses of Gylfi's potential.

Gylfi with the third hightest efficiency (minutes per goals) in the Bundesliga, better than for example Raul, Robben, van Nistelrooy, Muller, Gekas and Podolski. 9 league goals in 9 starts. Total 10 goals in 32 games, the clubs topscorer.
