Royalee Which 3 idiots voted Church?

Correction. 4 idiots......

5 idiots, myself included, because I genuinely think he could come good.

It's not as if Long set the world alight before this season anyway. Perhaps it's more out of hope than expectation though.

Nicky Maynard is in the last year of his contract...

But more realistically I would like someone like Jordan Rhodes. Waghorn would be good but probably not cheap.

Spoken to several different Rotherham fans and none of them reckon Le Fondre could cut it at this level. No way is he worth £1million.

Bristol City have already turned down a £3m offer from Leicester and have also confirmed they have had contact with 1 or 2 other Championship clubs. Forest are rumoured to be serously interested but have they got the £4m that would be needed?

Minus Black Holes and Conspiracies, if we DID get 6.5/7.5 for Long
and then bought Maynard for 3.5, that would be excellent business

Not a big Maynard fan, TBH nobody down here is.

The locals were far more miffed at losing Lita than they would be at losing lightweight Nicky.

That crossed my mind too, but I would be shocked if it's us, considering that we have retained all our strikers as yet.
Maybe Leicester? They seem to be buying a great deal, especially since their minus Yakubu etc...

Whoever it is, we need to get a move on with selling Long - if we're going to, or there won't be any replacements left. Leicester have agreed terms for Mikail-Smith today.

Worst case would be to sell him in late August and have money in the bank but no-one to spend it on.

We'll sell him in the next four weeks. There will be no replacement. We will struggle.

We've already aquired his replacement: Mathieu Manset.

Consider the matter resolved, then.

Manset has just started his run into the box for an expected Ian Harte corner in the first half against Millwall.

He might get on the end of it.

Manset would be better off trying his hand at something more compatible to his fitness levels.

I suggest he buys a fishing rod, grows a beard and sits by my f//ing pond.
