RUMOUR - Magnus Okuonghae

by KEBEISTHEGREATEST » 11 Jun 2011 09:37

http://www.mirrorfootball.co.uk/news/Re ... 46088.html Reading are interested in Magnus Okuonghae from Colchester.

Reading are lining up a bid for Colchester stopper Magnus Okuonghae to replace skipper Matt Mills.

Centre-back Mills, 24, is being chased by Premier League Wolves, who hope to land the ace for £4million.

The Royals, who lost in the Championship play-off final, are already considering possible replacements, including Okuonghae.

The 6ft 3in Nigerian, 25, has been at Colchester since leaving Dagenham in 2009.

Thoughts?

Called 'the Beast' by Colchester fans. Could be confusing if we sign him as we already have one...

Been out since last October with an ankle injury - will he be okay for the new season?

I suspect a 1/2 defenders to be signed on perm or loan plus a defensive midfielder before next Friday. Perhaps a mixture of lower league signings and a prem loan....So this guy would fit bill.

After all we lost Mills, ingi and borat in summer.

MO Can play at rb also.

Nope, far too dependent upon leigertwood and struggle when he is not fit. We need another powerful defensive midfielder in his mould if possible.
