And I am further indebted to Mr Maguire for his in-depth analyses
and his mathematical abilities

None of your damn business, tosspot.

Do you really want an internet war with me?

No. I want you to leave me alone.

I would like you to have your own statistics thread, one on which I would decline to comment.

I would like this thread to be called Snowball's Useless and Meaningless Statistics

And then you could play in your sand-pit, and I can play in mine.

And I would like it if the site owners made dicking with people's quotes a bannable offence.

And I am telling you, leave my family out of this

Why, you don't leave anyone else's out.

Can we not call a truce on this bloody nonsense?

Agreed.

I just want to play with my stats for those who are interested
and be left alone in my ignorance

I wonder if a random person could understand the difference between
daily references to my interactions with my children (because I'm mad)
and one sideways swipe about incest going the other way?

Just asking.

I, for one, find the stats quite interesting. I cannot understand why people can not just accept them for what they are and if they are not interested then just ignore them

Hallelujah!

Well said.

The problem now, of course, is that the threads are, this thread is contaminated by the stupid squabbling

I guess so, stupidly suggesting Shane would become a good striker.

Snowball Mr Maguire, I thank you profusely for pointing out that Mr Roberts got
his assist at Middlesboro for winning a free-kick, rather than helping
Mr Le Fondre to score a goal. This is really crucial information and it
fills my heart with deep warmth to think how you strain every sinew
to help me in my quest for information.

We're now crediting people with assists when they're fouled?

How does that work?

WE are not. You are free to do what you think fit. But I credit a player with an assist
for winning a penalty (whether scored or not because 85% of penalties in the Championship are scored)
and I award an assist (call it a Major Contribution if it makes u=you happier) for winning a free kick that results in a goal.

I suspect that iis at least the tenth time in this thread I've explained that.

No we are not. I am crediting them with winning free-kicks which are scored.

Let's call it a 0.85 of an assist then.
