Well its not really.....
Before he took over Chelsea were just an average Premiership side......since he arrived he's won them the league 3 times and the FA Cup 3 times, the league cup twice and taken them to a Champions League final.

Yes HE did win a lot but still nothing worth £1b IMO, and especially so when he spent that money because he wanted a European Cup!
The Chelsea of old were/are just a bogstandard average Premiership club. If he goes and they don't find a buyer to match RA's wealth, that club is going to go backwards pretty bleedin' sharpish!
