TBM McCleary will be coming in as a striker though - his preferred position

According to a die-hard Forest fan that I know McClearly is so obviously suited to playing out wide that he is most unlikely to be suited playing as a striker especially in the Premier League.
As for Pedersen,no thanks he is a player with real attitude.
Is it a case of getting Jason Roberts' old mates to join us?
If so Ryan Nelson would do.

He would prefer to play as a striker though - he's been converted into a winger....

Goalies often would prefer to be strikers but don't end up playing there.

And now he isn't. He'll play where he's told or he'll not be signing.

Is Morten Gamst Pedersen a done deal? he is in Wiki as signed:

ReadingIn July 2012, Pedersen signed for newly promoted Premier League side Reading after Blackburn's relegation, in a deal worth £4million for Rovers.

this was from the ever reliable http://football-rumours.co.uk/.
"Mortem Gamst Pedersen apparently joining Reading end of July for about £4m", also "Kenwynne Jones in discussions with Reading FC - source from inside the club. Stoke apparently willing to sell so fee expected to be relatively low (£2-3m)"

http://football-rumours.co.uk is automatic generated program which is scanning all web (including this respectful forum) for rumours with the chat option. So HobNOb is the source for football-rumours.co.uk but not wise versa.

If that's the case then I'd just like to inform everyone on football rumours of our bid of 2p, three buttons and a second class stamp for Lionel Messi.

why not, if i wanted to i could post there now saying we are on the verge of signing someone and then a reader of the post could come on here saying they heard we are on the verge of signing this player. so football-rumours.co.uk can be a source for HNA?. either way it is not reliable and should not be used as a source.

Decent player, would be good cover. Good set-piece taker.

No it isn't. It's random kids with terrible imaginations who can submit anything they like on there, and then it gets approval from the moderator team.

he hasn't had a great season this year or last - 3 and 4 years ago he was one of the best players in the Premier League.
