How is that harsh? Don't turn your back and don't have your arm out like that.

AthleticoSpizz you do realise.....

I was being lighthearted....right?

Should I put a  after everything I post?..right?

Decent pedantic edit BTW Ian

I'm with AS on this. Germany is a geographical concept whose borders flex proportionally to the strength of their "diplomacy"

And don't forget Jim Beglin's hideous insight into Ancient history; describing a group of Greek fans dressed as if they are from the Elgin Marbles as Trojans....

SKY just do sport to the max. It's like it really means something to them - it's their job and they set the standard.
ITV and BBC have become just bit-part players and therefore don't get enough practice.

That and the fact that ITV and BBC are crap at sport

BBC would be infinitely better than it is if Shearer, Lawrenson and Motson retired.

Hansen?

Defensive line up for France today, with Debuchy moving into midfield in place of Nasri. Can see Benzema causing Spain some problems, could even go to extra time.

That's the one. Horrendously arrogant man, who just regurgitates the same old cliches over and over again. Compared him to Sky's excellent Neville and Kamara he is an embarrassment.

Is that Chris "clueless arm flapping" Kamara?

Not seen any SKY because I don't pay for it. Hansen is absolutely fine.

How can you call him clueless when you haven't seen any of Sky? :|

If you'd seen any of Goals on Sunday then you'd realise just how awful Hansen and the MOTD team are.

Come and join Silver Fox and me.
He has been going on and on about ITV and the games they cover both here and in the Champs League and I have been with him all the way especially when it's Townsend and Tyldesley.
Listen out for Townsend overusing the word "unlucky" and dear old Clive always looking for anything macho to describe.
I wonder if "entente cordiale" will get a mention or possibly "la bastille".
Mark Bright and Lawro are terrible on BBC but their actual commentators aren't so bad.
Looking forward to the game but not the commentary.

BTW Ashley Cole rarely gives interviews but yesterday ITV got a scoop -now you can see why he doesn' do interviews as he makes Beckham, Rooney or Terry sound like Aristotle by comparison-what deep conversations there must have been with Cheryl.

You haven't had to watch Starlings then.

Sky should be the best though. It has the most money and the most live games to practise. That it is still only marginally better than ITV and not as good as the BBC is a pretty poor effort really.

It would be interesting to know how many SKY subscribers agree that BBC is better. I certainly don't.

BBC's F1 coverage is better (IMO), and maybe their Golf coverage, and their coverage of Wimbledon is excellent.

They do some things well, but their football production team is pretty poor.
