Alexander Litvinenko Everyone gets a "freebie", one-off clanger.

It's when it happens in two or more games that questions are asked.

Precisely. Feds managed 4 in 3 successive games. He'll be back all the stronger though (not least because they'll get his knee sorted as well).

Assuming we have two keepers of equal ability, maybe we should consider a regular rotation - Just because it's never been done at any other club that doesn't mean it won't be the best solution for us.

I'm hoping a pissed off Federici will return with a point to prove and attempt to force his way into the team with McCarthy also fighting him for the shirt.

sandman There's nothing wrong with Feds girlfriend voicing an opinion,it's sexist to suggest otherwise and especially so to claim she should be subjected to physical violence for having an opinion.

If she was a man you people wouldn't say anything about it. She is a modern day woman she can say what she wants it's what good about the modern world whereas you people, you are what's bad with it.

This is probably the worst post on the entire thread, and there's some stiff competition.

The reaction would be exactly the same if it had been his brother or dad that bleated all over twitter. They, like his girlfriend, should know that, given their close relationship with a player, it is irresponsible and counterproductive to voice their opinions, for reasons that have now been clearly demonstrated

Yet another disgusting chauvinist on HNA? You people make me sick! Get yourselves in the modern world instead of enforcing your Victorian values on us all.

we are fast becoming LAUGHING STOCK because of 2 keepers are both bad and make errors.

We will be relegated if we have bad goalkeeping every week.

Of this I am sure.

It is sad though

Feds is not a bad keeper and is a victim of lack of confidence at the moment. And it wasn't a bad decision by BM to rest him to get over things and in fact I think a very wise decision to blame it all on an injury. Well done BM!!!!

HOWEVER I'm disappointed that Feds has not been able to shut up his stupid girlfriend because that has spoilt everything for the himself as much as for he club. Th club HAS to take a very tough stance on him not controlling his girlfriend. I'm sorry I like guy and still think he's out best keeper at the moment but this is not acceptable. Worst of all it's added so much fuel to the fire that Feds confidence must be at an all time low at the moment and I can't see when he's going to get another game.

As it happens though I still rate Feds above McCarthy, who'll likely make a bunch of errors and we'll all be calling for Feds again and he'll return in glory.

Maguire
Ian Royal
RoyalBlue Oh, and of course, The Boy Wonder McCarthy was completely error free on Sunday!

No one said that. Although at least he didn't directly cause us to conceed a goal

As good as. Only a weak finish/Alex Pearce's goalline clearance stopped it.

That fukk up was the worst all season bar Federici's against Stoke.

2 world wars, 1 world cup McCarthy, who'll likely make a bunch of errors and we'll all be calling for Feds again and he'll return in glory.

Why? He was excellent at Leeds, so-so at Ipswich, and generally very good for us. Really have no idea where the lack of enthusiasm for McCarthy comes from.

Which he wouldn't have had to save it if he hadn't rashly conceded it.

So he had to chances to save penalties and he saved neither? disgraceful.

You people really want to talk about selective memory? Take a look in the mirror.

So-so? So-so? Really? Really? Really? He was awful at Ipswich! Their fans hated him because he didn't care what happened to them and he disrespected the fans.

And he was excellent at Leeds, and after a shaky start was very good for us....

As I said, struggling to understand why in McCarthy's place, fans aren't happy to see an academy graduate of considerable ability playing in our first team, when our no.1 keeper is struggling for form.

Your tone on this thread is ridiculous, sandman. You'd think McCarthy had run over your Mum.

MOTM in their draw against Southampton, pretty much single handedly won us the league.

Tbf, you are forgetting something here. You're forgetting that Sandman is actually a clueless tool.

I am quite r@ttled by the McCarthy h8. As far as I can see he's been a model professional, performed adequately in his fleeting appearances for us and has been generally well rated wherever he's been on loan. A decent young prospect who we have bred through the academy.

Yet he's being slated on here. A few weeks back a good portion of absolute numpties sang McCarthy's name as Federici conceded his third soft goal in three games. I thought that was very poor from the supporters. But not nearly as poor as indirectly slating your manager - one of the most successful managers in the club's history who, in his time as scout, brought you as a complete unknown to the club - on Instagram then having your dopey missis give her own unwelcome opinions on the situation.

Hmmm, think I've got myself netted here by a WUM.

Either that or he/she is a relative of Federici,

or is a complete tool

Finally someone got it. I can't believe you all kept biting.

I mean, really? You people, it's the oldest trick in the book. Did none of you watch wrestling as a kid? The bad guy always refers to the fans of the hometown favourite as "you people". The posts are so over the top that I thought it was obvious but you still kept taking it seriously and responding.
