ReadingJim Can't believe the early leavers though - ffs, yeah go and get to your car if it's a crap match and a foregone conclusion but come on - this was an absolute nail-biter to the end.

BraisingsteakRoyal I can only remember one cross or set piece not clearing the first man (and that may have been Kebe) - so a massive improvement on Gunter and Harte.

cmonurz Not sure why you find it so amusing. We are in the Premier League now – there are far more effective dead-ball strikers than Harte around in terms of being able to consistently deliver a very telling corner or free-kick. I’d sooner 80% of our set pieces were reaching the danger area than 40%. These are Premier League defenders who will clear the best efforts of Hazard, Nani, Duff or whoever – Ian Harte whipping two out of five into the danger zone isn’t going to scare anyone.

I find it amusing because throughout the whole of last season i saw Harte getting abuse for not clearing the first man on countless occasions. We also scored more goals from his set pieces than ive seen from 1 player in 30 years+. Not that hard to grasp. And if you think we have or ever have had a player capable of creating a genuine goalscoring chance more than 40% of the time from set-pieces, you are just plain wrong im afraid. Still, having spent 2 years creating us so many goals, his 3 shit games this season perfectly justify the good riddance type remarks he now gets. Thanks for nothing Mr Harte.

Here we go again with this "look at me, I'm a better fan than you" crap.
People pay their money and are entitled to go whenever they want. It is not a prison and sometimes people may have other engagements so need to get away early. If you want to stay until they end, fine, but it is not your place to criticise people if they want or have to leave early.

I help pay their fooking (massive) wages. If anything they should show their gratitude by lining up and clapping me as I walk back to the bus stop.

Royal Prince You wouldn't find people getting out of their seats five minutes before a play has finished while the actors are still on stage, so why is it ok at a football match?
Stay and show some support for the lads who have put so much effort in on the pitch, and show some gratitude by applauding them off. If getting home five minutes early is really more important to some people than showing respect to those that have put their hearts into the cause and above all entertained us then I think some people need a reality check!
