Just witnessed most bizarre interview on sky sports news. In summary it looks like Brown is livid with that decision and politely trying to tell Sturrock to stay away!!
Compromise is surely for him to lead the team out and Brown to manage.

As soon as I saw this story I knew "Mr Limelight" would do all he could to stop this from happening. There are plenty of pretty despicable people in football but Phil Brown would be right up there for me.

TBM tbf Brown is now the manager - why the fcuk should Sturrock be allowed to manage "just one more game".......he wont have been training the players all week etc and so all it'll do is confuse the hell out of them when he asks them to do something Brown has been training them not to do.

Agreed. Phil Brown would have no issues with elbowing a Parkinsons suffer out of the way to get to a camera, let alone lead a team out at Wembley. A man clearly not burdened with the trappings of moral fibre.

Phil Brown was on the radio yesterday and said something like 'I have called him to sort the situation, we are both grown men, i am sure neither of us has a problem with it'
