andrew1957 I still believe that the club "might" announce a couple of signings tomorrow morning.
If not then this transfer window has been an absolute disgrace.

No Fixed Abode Won't be Cameron Jerome. He's signed for Palace.

At least they have shown a bit of ambition more than we ever did. This was a club that were in administration 3 seasons ago. So much for the Reading way.

andrew1957CholseyRoyalandrew1957 I cannot help thinking the club will wait until 11pm and then announce 3 signings.
Anything less than that and this will go down as the worst transfer window in recent years. It will mean 10 first teamers out and just 3 in - including two players out that were amongst the best three performers of last season. That would be an absolute joke and so I continue to hope for good news.
Anything less than 3 signings will be a disappointment in my book – although I did vote 0 earlier as that is par for the course on recent deadline days.
Thanks, so it was ten out, I was trying to work that out earlier today. Gosh what a HUGE saving on wages plus a few millions for Kebe and Mapps. The bank balance may just about be in profit, or maybe not.
For the record the ten who had previously been part of our first team squad were: Mariappa, Kebe, Shorey, Harte, Andersen, Carrico, Church, Mills, Tabb and Hunt.
Lots of wages saved and 4-5M inward transfer fees. Just 700K spent on Williams and wages for him, Drenthe and Bridge.

Libertine I voted "1 signing" in the poll...so close to being right. I am glad I had to work today and didn't waste 10 or so hours getting frustrated. Nice window QPR had though. Maybe one day we'll be saying that about Reading...

urzmikep Breaking news..........yes we've signed "JACK SHIT" apparently he's marginally better than the Pog & Blackman, but only just!!

No Fixed Abode OK. Hearing it's Sissoko on loan and David McGoldrick.
