TBMBrum RoyalTBM Didn't they sign something like 14 players though? - surely it takes time to bed/blend?
Palace did. I don't recall Wigan signing that many. There's going to be a fire sale at Palace next summer too. Anyone for another year older, another injury hit season further on Kebe next July?

Royalclapper The Sheff Weds job is surely still a fairly attractive one for anyone looking to make a name for themselves in football management. Tough financial situation but there's absolutely bags of potential for someone who could lift them and get them challenging in the Champ.
Wouldn't surprise me if Parky wasn't looked at by a Championship club soon although it could be tough tempting him away from Bradford as things are.

Warnock was practically begging for it on TalkSport yesterday morning.

Yep. You know when your managerial career has gone down the shitter when the only job you can smarm your way in to is Crawley Town.

stealthpapes Is there a story behind John Gregory moving to Israel to manage?
On 8 December 2009, Gregory was appointed the manager of Israeli club Maccabi Ahi Nazareth. He led them to relegation.
On 18 May 2010 Gregory signed a 3-year contract with Israeli Premier League Club F.C. Ashdod. He resigned from Ashdod on 18 April 2011, with the club facing the possibility of relegation.
On 13 June 2011, Gregory was appointed the manager of Kazakh club FC Kairat from Almaty, Kazakhstan. Kairat survived relegation at the end of the 2011 season to the second tier of Kazakhstan football.
Gregory had his contract as manager of FC Kairat terminated in December 2011, and in April 2012 was paid $120,000 in compensation.
On 3 December 2013 Gregory was named as the manager of Crawley Town, replacing previous manager Richie Barker.
