No.
However if we do get into the Play-Offs, we won't make the final.

We might win. We just might win. Forget all the negatives, we are ONE result (or even a loss, dependent on other results?) from the playoffs, and then our bizarrely inconsistent form all year doesnt matter. We can do it, Im sure we played a weaker squad today on the idea that some of the walking wounded would be better risked against Burnley, and it worked out. Im sure we shouldnt pull this off, but we really could - 4 games!!

All that has happened before in this season can be forgotten now, it's effectively down to one off games that we have to win. So let's have all Reading fans getting behind whatever team our Nigel puts out as vociferously as possible and being supportive and positive for club for the rest of the season.

Not a chance, more likely to get relegated.

Yes.

Got a very good feeling Forest will limit Brighton to a point, then all we need is a point and it's ours, very tough ask against a very good Burnley side though. But these lads grinded out a draw against Leicester so why not?

I hope not. I would prefer them to be playing Championship football nest season rather than being cheated out of games week in week out.

Also, if we go up we'll probably keep hold of the big nosed bag of shite Le Fondre.

Still think we'll choke. But Adkins has kept us in touch all season. He had us well placed at Xmas to strengthern and kick on but got no money and he's kept us in the race since despite that.

Brighton will win at Forest, only a win will do us, Burnley have only lost 5 all season so the task is enormous . in some ways it might be a blessing if we miss out because Derby are completely different animal to the team we beat 3-1 earlier this season.

Seem to remember our record in win or die matches is pretty poor, Birmingham 2009, Wigan 2005, Watford 2004. Obviously got the job done against Brentford (just!) and up at Derby but generally don't seem to remember us really putting in good performances for these type of games!

MmmMonsterMunch The only hope I have is that Brighton lose so we still get 6th TBH.

I cannot see us beating Burnley, I just can't. When did we last beat these b@stards anyway?! I went to Turf Moor & they were so well organised & effective. That was when we still had most of the team fit & the 'feel good' factor about us & even then on the day, they were far superior.

There was the "Balti Pie" incident at Turf Moor, they thought the ball went out of play but we played on and scored. As a result there was reported pie throwing at Hahnemann from the home fans using pies they didn't sell in the away end, definite home bias there.

I really can't understand some of the sentiment here and on the radio yesterday after the game. People talking about being nervous wrecks before the game, someone above being sick with nerves, not sleeping etc...etc.. For goodness sake it's a game of football. And if we win we get to the play offs. It's not life and death and anyone who has seen us fail to demolish the likes of Yeovil and Barnsley at home (to name but 2 this year) will know that we would get walloped every week if we went up with this squad and did not spend.

Yes, there's no doubt in my mind. Brighton are in a far better position to strengthen and stay in the premier league than we are so its actually in Burnley's interest to lose on Saturday.

Shaun Dyche was just on Sky saying we had the most difficult task because we were playing them, he will be going for the win with a full strength side

St. Brynjar Nope, it's Brighton's.

If we don't get in there, I hope they do. Good club, good fan-base, and they'd make a refreshing change in the Premier League rather than the Derby's, Reading's and QPR's. That said, they should be careful what they wish for. Their debt has escalated with the move to the new ground, spending in the transfer market. We've all seen how the Premier League can be bad for clubs like us. But good luck to them if they get their shot.

As for next weekend. The pressure is on both clubs, but more so on them! They have to better our result or their season's over. It'll be a tense atmosphere, but we didn't expect to be in this position, so let's enjoy it and get behind the team from the off, and make the most of it!

I actually think we'll do it. Then it's all about those bastard play-offs.

You seem to be confused, this is Brighton we're talking about.
