Reading not in any of these positions unless we buy two good strikers.

Top two - Reading and Watford

Play offs - Bolton, Forest, Wigan, Ipswich

I think Brighton, Blackburn and Leeds could also be up there. But I think Redknapp will walk out on QPR and they will finish mid table.

Relegation - Blackpool, Huddersfield and Doncaster. Yeovil to shock everyone and stay up

1 QPR
2 Forest
3 Leeds
4 Reading
5-6 Ipswich
5-6 Watford
7 Bolton
8 Bournemouth
9 Leicester
10 Huddersfield
11-13 Brighton
11-13 Charlton
11-13 Blackpool
14-16 Derby
14-16 Burnley
14-16 Blackburn
17-18 Barnsley
17-18 Wigan
19 Sheffield Wednesday
20 Yeovil
21 Birmingham
22 Middlesbrough
23 Millwall
24 Doncaster

Yesterday's results have no bearing on this, but I do feel it was important McDermott got off to a winning start.

I am going to be bloody furious if Saggy Harry lasts the season and gets QPR in the top 6. Let alone promotion.

Bump...just to see how many of our pre-season predictions (mine included) were cringeworthy after the fact. Carry on... :P

In danger of Relegation.
Barnsley, Yeovil, Millwall, Blackburn

Notable absences:
Watford - I think it's going to be hard to sustain a similar season as last time off the back of a loan system. But I wouldn't expect them to be far off.
Brighton - Two good seasons after promotion, so I think they'll flag a little bit and be mid-table, especially with the change of manager. I think they'll be back up there in a season or three though.
QPR - Difficult to predict because they're such a basket case. They have the players to win the league, but then they had the players to finish mid-table last season and were atrocious. Plus I don't see Harry hanging around for the full season, and his summer hasn't impressed me, so I think a season of disappointment and disruption is coming for them.

LOLZ @ Me. Not a complete shambles though - called one of the Play Off contenders right (and two to narrowly miss out), got 2 relegated right and the third was a struggler.

Unless ownership is sorted out I'm sure a top 10 finish would be fair.

The only person who was spot on was Seb saying Reading wouldn't get in the play offs!
