Agent Balti RFC never say anything that isn't 100% set in stone or casts the club in anything other than a shining light. We all know this, it's never been any different, we all know the drill.

Because as people with long term emotional investment (but no financial investment) we would love to be kept involved in all the detailed discussions.
But it's never going to happen, in fact it probably can't happen
Anyone thinking the club (or any club) are going to put stuff out there to be misquoted, misused, misunderstood etc etc is naive, forgetting the fact that it would be commercially difficult.

You only have to look at some of the things that are accepted as fact on here despite them being completely untrue to see why clubs just tend to keep quiet unless there is a solid announcement to make.

Anton Zingarevich has provided financial guarantees HC "Atlant"

Russian businessman and majority owner of FC "Reading" to maintain residence outside Moscow club in the KHL

Chairman of the Supervisory Board of HC "Atlant" Anton Zingarevich will fund a team of Mytishch next season Continental Hockey League (KHL) . This "Izvestia" said general manager Alex Zhamnov Moscow Region club .

- We have a guarantee from Zingarevich for next season - said Zhamnov . - We look to the future with optimism. But to speak of a final decision on the sources and amount of funding is still too early . Everyone understands that the season was difficult . There was a huge debt. We must appreciate the efforts of the players who have worked , we can say in debt. There will be periods when things do not just as you want . I hope that this situation does not happen again.

Previously Managing Director commented CHL Dmitry KURBATOV destiny "Atlanta" , whose participation in sezone-2014/15 was in doubt , saying that the club has provided the necessary guarantees league . Functionary also added that the financial situation in novovstupivshih " Sochi leopards " normal , while the Moscow "Spartak" - bad .

- Personnel changes will be - this is normal , as planned budget cuts - continued Zhamnov . - Director General is Andrey rope. CEO of HC "Spartak" Neither Paul Lee is regarded as one of the candidates for the completion of staff " Atlanta ." We study a lot of different options , but so far everything is under negotiation . Clarity comes after a decision is made the board of trustees .

Information about the destination in the " Atlas" press officer "Spartacus" Alexander Malyshev , who has worked in the Moscow club for seven years , also remains inconclusive . While the appointment did not take place , but it is expected that Malyshev officially start work in the Moscow club in the near future .

- With my departure from "Spartacus" all clear - Malyshev admitted "Izvestia" . - On June 1, release me from office. While I did only one statement that leaving the club. It's true. Most of the staff team asks to leave, so that it does not accumulate debt. About where to go, I 'll explain later . "Atlas" ? I will not comment on it.

General Manager of "Atlanta" Alexei Zhamnov noted that debts to hockey players still remain, but will soon be extinguished. We are talking about the end of this - early next week. Work on this issue and lawyers club Anton Zingarevich . Previously, several players , "Atlanta" appealed to the Disciplinary Committee of the CHL nonpayment of wages since December 2013.

- Alexei Kudashov remains head coach. In terms of transfers , we are working . In the near future may be a number of exchanges and purchases. At the moment, there was at least some notion of the budget. When the budget is finally formed , and everything else will - said Zhamnov . - Information about the association with "Spartacus " has no foundation . "Spartacus" - people's team . I do not think that unite Moscow and the region is logical . Most likely, this fudge journalists. No specifics about it is not , and hardly anything happens .

Zhamnov also believes that the possible sale of a controlling stake " Reading " Anton Zingarevich , likely indicates that the businessman remains in Russia and he was interested in the project of the hockey club "Atlant" . The British press reported that Zingarevich is negotiating the sale of the football team for £ 1 , if the buyers will assume the obligation to pay the debt of around £ 38 million on the acquisition of " Reading " claimed two billionaire : Israeli Teddy Sagi and Mohit Burman of India.

- Not in my competence to comment on the subject of sale " Reading ," it is unethical - said Zhamnov . - If we consider the question from the point of view of " Atlanta " that guarantees that provided Zingarevich probably say that he is here and it is interesting . There was a meeting with the governor of the Moscow region , Andrei Vorobyov , we also support it . All financial liabilities, which assumed the region are met. Clearly, there is some delay. Still talking about the budget. It's not as easy as it seems. And next year will be to help and sponsors , but cost more money will not.

Some time ago, the Moscow Region Governor Andrei Vorobyov at the launch of the program development near Moscow said that if in 2012 for the maintenance of professional teams in the regional budget was laid about 3 billion rubles, in 2013 funding will be reduced by 30% - to 2.3 billion rubles , and in 2014 the amount of funds planned to be reduced to zero and redirect the money for development of mass sports .

He's clearly not satisfied with his bit part role and wants more playing time, what better way than the direct route?

M Brook
paddy20 Hasn't the EP got an up to date Piccie of Teddy? Bit embarrassing to keep showing the one with his girlfriend now long gone! I worry that all this talk - as before - will culminate in nothing. If all these potential buyers are so keen whats the stumbling block?? Will we see this just peter out and we pay our tax bill with the sales of Macarthy and Le Fondre and we will be back to scraping a survival under the increasingly financially challenged Mt Mad?

There's a different picture of him here - http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article ... hines.html

Nothing new but the pic of Sagi in a royals shirt is a piss take that made me laugh.

But none of what you wrote has actually come from a Reading FC source, it's the media that's released those nuggets, not the club. That's my point. Though, yours is just as valid, granted.

@JonnyFordham Told it's because of the whole mess with CS and the TSI's hold over it all.

SPARTA Fordham now claiming in The Sun that Burman and the Americans are getting frustrated and wont be held to ransom.

That won't bother Samuelson and co. They won't sell to Burman as he wants a new Board. SJM has no say in any of this with his minority share holding.

I guess they will keep selling players to pay HMRC and to avoid Administration. I guess they would prefer to sell with the condition the keep their £40k pw for two years or failing that take the equivalent as a lump sum out of RFC using money from sold players.

Well that's my rumour for tonight.

Well it looks like CS and AO are firmly in control. If it is true AZ handed his shares over, he handed them to TSI (CS, AO), hence them being the controlling share holders.

Fordham has suggested they may not care if we end up in admin, as the debts will all but be cleared, leaving the way for MTI to buy us on the cheap. Nothing would surprise me anymore.

Nameless Because as people with long term emotional investment (but no financial investment) we would love to be kept involved in all the detailed discussions.

Anyone thinking the club (or any club) are going to put stuff out there to be misquoted, misused, misunderstood etc etc is naive, forgetting the fact that it would be commercially difficult.

Sorry but that is a nonsensical excuse for the bunch of complete barstewards who own/are running (ruining) our club remaining silent.

They needn't 'say' anything that can be misquoted; they can use good old fashioned black and white print (Madejski at least should understand and identify with that concept!) to state a few straight forward facts. Who the f*ck currently owns the club would be a good start. Instead, as they have always done, they continue to give the supporters the mushroom treatment.

They all deserve an extremely hostile (but non-violent) reception if they dare show their faces come the start of next season. Hopefully supporter power will eventually run every single one of them out of town.

In their defense we don't know what they've done yet. We assume they're digging their heels in, but we don't know that for sure. I'll admit it looks bad, but these deals won't be an overnight thing, and they may well be negotiating fair severance packages.
