SPARTA Well it looks like CS and AO are firmly in control. If it is true AZ handed his shares over, he handed them to TSI (CS, AO), hence them being the controlling share holders.

Fordham has suggested they may not care if we end up in admin, as the debts will all but be cleared, leaving the way for MTI to buy us on the cheap. Nothing would surprise me anymore.

Would or could the administrator allow that though. Someone on here used to deal in administration, maybe he/she could answer that. Surely it would be very obvious fraud.

TSI won't want that as they won't get the money owed to them/AZ .... so I don't think it's that simple.

Royal Ginger In their defense we don't know what they've done yet. We assume they're digging their heels in, but we don't know that for sure. I'll admit it looks bad, but these deals won't be an overnight thing, and they may well be negotiating fair severance packages.

This is what I sense is going on. If so they would rule out Burman as he wants a new board. It then boils down to how many players they are prepared to sacrifice (sell) before they will accept an offer.

RoyalBlue ... to state a few straight forward facts. Who the f*ck currently owns the club would be a good start.

...err... is there even the slightest hint that it isn't Anton?

You want the club to come out and state something nobody believes isn't true?

...Err.... perhaps if you bothered to read the preceding pages, you would see that there are stronger hints that that is not the case. There is now a strong suggestion that it is TSI, not Anton (who has been stated as having handed back his shares), who currently owns the majority of the club. Either way, there is clearly a great deal of confusion and no-one, including you and the local media, actually seems to know. Therefore whatever they come out and state it won't be 'something nobody believes isn't true?'

So I repeat: to state a few straight forward facts. Who the f*ck currently owns the club would be a good start.

Anton has never owned a share in Reading Football Club, it has always been TSI.

I believe there was one Fordham tweet which said Anton had handed back his shares? past that there is absolutely no evidence nothing has changed on the website or companies house etc. Personally I would be wary of using that as a base until it is substantiated. If anything I would suggest Anton has been cut out and they report direct to Boris who again I suggest was the ultimate power behind their bid . I highly doubt AO and/or CS have been elevated to shareholder level.

TSI are registered in Gibraltar, good luck finding that in Companies House.

What do we "the taxman" £3M for?

That would imply we have made massive operating profits!

Could be VAT and/or NHI contributions

Mmm interesting, does that imply TSI aren't in complete control or just that Burman wants to know what's what from the other major shareholder and if SJM has any influence on the Board?

It implies that MSI probably stand to make a lot from Sagi's development plans

To summarise:

Anton gave back his shares in TSI (RFC's parent company)
This isn't shown on companies house because TSI aren't a UK based company
As far as we know, AO and CS are the only other shareholders in TSI
Therefore, if the above is true, AO and CS now own a controlling share of RFC

If they want to negotiate a consultancy fee they can do whatever the f*ck they like because they own the club...

SJM stitched up again :!:

It's generally the modus operandi of conmen and charlatans

If people knew they were before they entered into a deal, they wouldn't. Every deal has some risk though and some personal gain too, so sometimes people get a little greedier than they would have normally.

Hindsight is so great for people looking to blamestorm.

Generally speaking no, because cons are usually based around the greed of the mark going after something too good to be true.

Im guessing its only me that believes SJM jumped at the opportunuty to make a fast buck and get out when doing the deal with TSI in which case he made a monumental fcuk up?
Anyone else think the reason he is still around is not necessarily for the benefit of RFC but to get as much out of any takeover as possible?
He made his money selling cars.................

Just sayin

I doubt it's only you.

Reading FC seems to attract more than its fair share of halfwits tbh.

JHC but "make a fast buck" has to be the stupidest comment I've seen yet on this.
