floyd__streete What a truly rubbish statement.

There is funding in place - yeah in January you said there were transfer funds available, not sure if I believe you given we've just sold our top scorer.

TSI have left the board - right so they forfeit their veto, do they?

"Dear fans,

Reading FC is a football club. My name is John. Some people own the club.

I hope you appreciate the transparency.

I wonder who the debt holder is...?

Samuelson said their debt was "generated by the residue of being in the Premier League", and also revealed why Zingarevich had withdrawn his interest in the club.

"When Reading were promoted it had to rely on the resources it had," he said.

"It did not get any extra investment from Anton Zingarevich which it expected. The only way to bolster the team was to borrow money. Loans were arranged and secured on Premier League payments.

"The hope was Anton would be able to arrange additional finance, which he said he would do. The club had hoped to move on some players which did not happen. Underneath the top tier of players the market was very dead last summer.

"Anton told me he had some issues of his own back in Russia and that is why he found himself in the awkward position of not having the money for the remaining 49% and the money to finance the team. There was a compromise agreement reached with his father Boris Zingarevich to help finance the club."
Loans secured on Premier League payments - Not a bad idea if secured on guaranteed payments e.g. parachute payments, but not when there is a risk of relegation.

Interesting to note that Boris is mentioned

So our future is now in the hands of a bank. So Dellor may be right after all - we could be, as Samuelson also says, close to new ownership. I really don't like the thought of any of the TSI lot remaining involved though, and it sounds like that's possible (claims Fordham).

Lender is most probably Vibrac, which I pointed out many months ago. I also stated Boris was funding the club after Anton had been unable to raise new funds to complete the purchase of the remaining 49%

Several here were on the ball including my good self (as the Omani interest was indeed confirmed by CS) and there would be an interesting race to see who posted what first :D

You claimed that Anton had done a runner with the parachute payments. That was bollocks then and it's bollocks now.

You claimed that we'd taken a loan of £36m - that was bollocks then, same as it is now.

Please do keep sharing your info - in these difficult times it's always good to have something to chuckle at.

I'm dubious about multisync, but there's some credibility to his posting, unlike some others.

You've got to have some faith in a man who has an 18" monitor.

My first ever LCD monitor. Dead proud and when hunting for a user name it was there in front of me. I no longer use it but it lives on none the less..

That aside , when I have information I let some of it out. If I speculate I try to preface it by saying it is me speculating. I don't lie or plant false info. I either know or I don't: end of.

If you choose to believe or not or ignore (as a lot here do) or not so be it...

Dellor said a deal would happen by the weekend, others said the Indian was flying in to see SJM personally. I said SJM would be out of the country. I know where he is and it should be reasonably obvious to someone like Fordham or Watts where he is but yet they don't seem to know...

Makes me wonder how deep they look or do they just sit there waiting for texts' on their mobiles.

The problem is, and I'm not necessarily accusing you here, it's easy to say you're right and you've got inside information even if you don't have it, especially with the usual vague references to it and no explanation of how you know.

Not many people are going to remember whether you were proved right in six months time. You might just get lucky even if you don't actually know anything. And if you claim you predicted something accurately previously, very few people are actually going to search to check whether you're lying or not. Kes 1-0-1.
