Zana Badawi soggy biscuit slightly related - if I was a multimillionaire buying a football club and looking to become a hero to thousands by throwing money at top players, I would also change the food and drink on offer making the choice amazing and make it all half price too. The cost would be minimal i comparison to the wages of players and it would have a huge impact on the fans and therefore your image and reputation
I would strongly suggest if that was your business strategy then you wouldn't be the hypothetical multimillionaire in the first place.
Owning a football club is a loss maker anyway. You could say they are all bad businessmen based on their football antics alone tbh
I am talking your Abramovich's and Mansour's tbh, those with so much money they will never get through it in their life. Set up some massive marquee's outside the stadium, nice seating areas, pie companies etc can all come in and sell their goods, breweries offering all kinds of drinks and me, the billionaire owner, would pick up 50% of the tab.
