No comment on Twitter from Jason Roberts. Funny that.

Exaggeration of racial stereotypes, I guess?

(But I agree with you, TBMers)

mmmmmmmm, unless I am soooo out of touch with the parody and self effacing humour of Balotelli..I found myself asking myself that same question.

Think that the rabid pc goody do-gooder packhounds may just be the ones with egg on their faces for not getting his ironic joke

Has he actually been accused of anything or charged with anything though?

Or have the newspapers just decided to be offended on behalf of other people and are trying to make something where there is very little, if nothing at all?

It's the last line. But you all knew that anyway. His Mother is Jewish, so he might have some kind of defence when he claims innocence of any malicious intent. Nothing is ever so clear-cut as the knee-jerkers would have you believe and I am not really sure either way. I'll wait until I have read the Guardian before I know what to think.

I think it's ill thought out in the light of the Dave Whelan incident and the FA will be extra keen to be seen to be doing something. Ballotelli has handed on a plate an opportunity for them to be all sanctimonious and smug about how tough they are on racism.

AthleticoSpizz Neither of the above yet, but

http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/30287413

Based on that I would say media driven. No word from the FA in there, just the media saying there will be an investigation, when in fact I wouldnt be surprised if that was the media phoning the FA and asking 'Balotelli posted something that someone said was racist, are you going to look into it?' and the FA probably just went 'errrrr yeah, ok then'.

Handsome Man It's the last line. But you all knew that anyway.

I don't get why it's a negative though?

It's like saying all black men have massive dongs, why would it upset you, if you were one*?!

Because it adheres to the racial stereotype that black males' exclusive quality is having big penises.

Pretty sure Balotelli is too stupid to be a racist.

I'm not sure how stereotyping Jews as being tight and avaricious is quite as complementary as stereotyping all black men as having massive dongs. Although I guess it's not like millions of Jews were murdered for being portrayed as avaricious.

There's almost certainly a media over-reaction. But it's a oxf*rd stupid thing to post for a public figure. And it doesn't even have the redeeming feature of being amusing.

Jesus - I've wandered unsuspectingly into an episode of The Office.
