MASSIVE win that. Well done the lads for grinding it out.
Methinks the Bradford game has shown us what level of commitment is needed for all types of games. This is the first time in ages we've beaten a side below us.

Excellent. Big credit to the lads who knew they needed a win at home to get things warmed up nicely for Monday.

What an important win that was tonight...puts a competely different perspective on Monday now plus obviously edges us closer to safety.

This really proves the players are growing in confidence for me. They knew they needed to put a marker down at home tonight.

Big thumbs up Clarkie - you are handling this fixture pile up pretty damn well & wringing every last bit you can from those players.

Bin the Watford game off completely Clarke none of us give a fcuk - play the kids & rest the entire first team!

I would disagree with this. We've been crap recently.

Massive sigh of relief on this result. How nice to see the armchair warriors over on North Stand Chat choking on sour grapes. What a sad bunch of individuals. I sooo hope the Albion go down...again :)

I think Clarke has done well. You can see the players are fighting for him & Pog is playing out of his skin. Hector is improving & GMac is getting back to top form.

The fixture pile up has had an impact on the quality of play for sure but we are hard to break down.

Now 13 points off the bottom 3 & 1 game from Wembley. Would Adkins have done as well? Absolutely no fcuking way IMO.

We won "Our Cup Final" against such a HUGE CLUB. :D .Who cares if we lose to Bradford now . To beat a MASSIVE club like Brighton is unsurpassable.

Can`t quite understand why off Mackie. super non stop energy performance. seems like we found Chalabah`s best position, he looked very comfortable at left back .
Albion were bollox, got exactly what they deserved, fcuk all. and take a bow Greg Halford for being the biggest cnut to visit our stadium this season

- Big up to Chalobah who looked 10 times the player of the 2014/2015 version of Obata at left back

- HRK and Blackman ineffective as ever

- Akpan ruled the first half for me. Won a lot of balls and started a lot of attacks with nice attacking through balls. Him and Williams seemed back to their best

- Brighton made us look like Real Madrid tbf

- I will never moan about other teams time wasting after tonight and I wouldn't have blamed Halford if he'd decked Hector after that display

I personally found the whole time wasting thing embarrassing. I can understand the whole "let's walk slowly off as a sub" or "take your time on a free kick". But I think we went too far and hector hugging the ball and keeping it from Brighton was a bit shiiiit

Also why in gods name are fans singing about Wembley.

Anyone else revelling in the fact we are intimidating, niggly, physical & irritating or is it just me?

I love all that sh*t - it's been missing for far too long.

No but I hold Reading to a higher standard. Just because some other teams like Sheffield Wednesday and Wigan do it doesn't mean RFC should

Were you at Rotherham?

Yes. And Fulham. Missed Blackpool and Wigan though.

I love how 40 pages in (just after we scored the winner) they dedicate an entire page to clarifying the dictionary definition of 'tinpot'. The irony

Agree Brighton looked very poor, especially first half, but maybe (just maybe) it was us playing well.

Their recent away form had been excellent

W3 D3 L2 their last 8 away, and looks like they play very tight,
with 5 clean sheets in those 8 games and just 3 goals conceded

1-1 Wolves
2-0 Fulham
2-0 Brentford
1-0 Charlton
0-1 Blackpool
0-0 Cardiff
0-0 Wednesday
0-1 Bolton

So away they've been very, very good (last 8 games) and at home they had just won 3 on the bounce

4-3 Birmingham
2-0 Leeds (who have been in decent form)
2-0 Derby

Maybe, just maybe, we played well, against a side in generally good recent form

Truly "Excellent" away sides don't lose at Blackpool.
