The Bournemouth striker could well be on the move today, with Reading, Bristol City and Leeds interested
Yeah he'll do....got an eye for the goal which is always handy as a striker

Heard he's on his way to Bristol. Which would make sense as they have quite a bit of money.TBM wrote:The Bournemouth striker could well be on the move today, with Reading, Bristol City and Leeds interested

Likewise but as Kes says Bristol City have loads-a-money after selling their good striker to the Villa so this could fall into the (Lescott,Cahill, Taylor, O'Neill)category where we tried very hard to get players but didn't succeed.Hendo wrote:Would be very happy with this.
Lets hope he see's past the money then...BR2 wrote:Likewise but as Kes says Bristol City have loads-a-money after selling their good striker to the Villa so this could fall into the (Lescott,Cahill, Taylor, O'Neill)category where we tried very hard to get players but didn't succeed.Hendo wrote:Would be very happy with this.
Would be ideal if the idea is to have a fast-moving flexible striker (a better Rekels) rather than a target man only in say Lambert (a better version of Kermorgant).
Stam won't make a difference if it's a permanent deal. We'll never stump up enough cash for that to make a difference.RichTea94 wrote:Unless Tevereden has a magic wand or the Stam effect attracts the player, I don't see this happening.
Agreed. The limiting factor is very much us being willing to meet Bournemouth's asking price. Which we almost certainly won't unless the Thais fancy breaking our transfer record just for the craic.Tommio wrote:Stam won't make a difference if it's a permanent deal. Unless Williams leavesCountryRoyal wrote:Not a top goal scorer but is quick and will stretch defences which is something we need. Don't see him being too expensive and could see Bournemouth letting him go for £3m or so.
Which still puts us out of the running ofc.
Williams out and Grabban in would make a lot of sense considering our other options in those two positions.TBM wrote:Unless Williams leavesCountryRoyal wrote:Not a top goal scorer but is quick and will stretch defences which is something we need.
