Para Handy
savage 4 england I think about 15 minute walk to South Ealing. Not sure if it's any quicker back to Reading than the Waterloo train.

Yeah South Ealing via Earl's Court looks a good shout actually. Doesn't seem too bad a walk with the Ealing Park Tavern looking good.

jd82 I was being a shade optimistic tbh. Having had a look is more like 20/25 minutes to Northfields, still preferable to Brentford train and on to Victoria as I'm heading back to Kings Cross

I was hoping you were going to tell me about some shortcut I didn't know about  . The Brentford train would be OK for me but one of my mates needs to get back to Slough so Paddington is preferable and not much time difference by the looks of it.

Only a mile back to South Ealing, so you could probably stomp it in an inevitable post-game rage in about 15.

I've got the bus up that way before and it was a nightmare in terms of traffic, I'm opting for the train, changing at twickenham.

About 600 tickets for on the terrace sold so far with around 400 left.

Not sure on the upper tier seating.

Would be embarrassing if we can't sell this out

Whats embarrassing is getting embarrassed by not selling out away allocations. If we don't sell out it would be disappointing, as it is such a small trip, but as long as the people who want to be are there and the team win, it shouldn't really matter to anyone.

Plus I doubt Brentford will sell out the return fixture.

Agreed. Zammo will be highly embarrassed if Reading don't sell their allocation.

Quite a good point this. Plus there'll be more room to run around on the terraces when GMac curls in a 93rd minute winner in bins, a-la Crewe fans circa 1997 when they went 3-0 up at Elm Park in the rain.

I love football so much.

In X 2 for the upper tier - with the worst leg room in the championship.

It's only a small trip if you're driving - the train journey is ridiculously long for that distance. I had a look on national rail and I reckon I could get to Exeter quicker than Brentford.

This is my thinking. If I can find somewhere to stick the car, I will drive.

Thoughts on justpark.com type sites?

Last time I parked in Station Rd, the other side of the station. Residents parking restrictions end at 5:30.
